What You'll Gain

This workshop offers a radically different approach to flamenco: one rooted in body intelligence, expressive presence, and unapologetic feminine sensuality.

Award-Winning Researcher & Master Dance Educator, Puela Lunaris, brings together the historically rooted lineage of Zambra as danced by the legendary Lola Flores with the renowned Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) framework, so you can:

  • Command a magnetic stage presence using historically rooted body intelligence.
  • Inhabit your body with pleasure through unapologetic feminine sensuality.
  • Ground your dance in ancestral power by connecting to the roots of the Zambra.
  • Access authentic Zambra dance to move beyond the "fusion confusion" found elsewhere.
  • Embody the magic of your whole body dancing (not just your feet) through the empowering Lunaris Flamenco Body Technique™ to achieve majestic posture & coordination, elegant torso, bewitching arms, sensual hips, grounded marcajes, and fiery turns.
  • Discover the untamed charisma and interpretative genius of the Zambra legend Lola Flores, learning to generate those qualities in your dance through Puela Lunaris' method.
  • Decode the essence of every movement through Laban Movement Analysis—so you can embody the power of flamenco, not just copy steps and footwork.
  • Become part of flamenco history: Understand the cultural relevance of Zambra—a hit in the first half of the 20th century, now almost extinct—and actively contribute to its preservation and revitalization.

5 golden stars for Lunaris Barefoot Feminine Flamenco™

"This is the first workshop that taught me Zambra as FLAMENCO, not as belly dance with flamenco flavor. Puela bridges cultural respect with accessible teaching—I finally feel like I'm honoring the art form instead of appropriating it."
