Native Spaniard Puela Lunaris is a Music Producer, Award-Winning Researcher, and Flamenco Cultural Consultant. A pioneer in composing original flamenco lyrics in English, she is the producer of the internationally distributed album Duende Flamenco and the Practice Music series used by artists worldwide.
Through her online academy, Puela has guided over 1,000 students across 11 countries. Her deep expertise is rooted in a decade as a Teaching Artist at New York City Center and distinguished institutions such as The Juilliard School and the Instituto Cervantes.
As a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and Producer of the Legendary Gypsy Masters Anthology, Puela brings a comprehensive understanding of flamenco’s rhythmic and poetic structures. Her teaching is celebrated for its clarity, warmth, and unique ability to make complex flamenco subjects accessible to artists and aficionados worldwide.
