¡Hola! I am Puela Lunaris. Thanks for letting me be your guide into one of the most endearing aspects of my native culture in Spain: Flamenco as a community ritual.
As a multimedia producer, dance educator, and founder of the Flamenco Roots Program, I’m dedicated to safeguarding flamenco traditions in danger of extinction. Since 2003, I’ve been documenting authentic Flamenco living rituals in my native Spain. My 20+ years of ethnographic research is now culminating in a fascinating documentary series.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Culture and Dance Education from the State University of New York (SUNY) and a Master’s in Digital Media from New York University (NYU), I combine my passion for digital storytelling and culture to preserve and share the wisdom of traditional music and dance. It is my honor and delight to share the magic of my culture with you!
